Woops, I didn't post my travel schedule for the upcoming weeks. Bad Jean! I've been busy visiting my dad in the hospital (quote of the week: "I'm high!" -- my dad on morphine) and partying down West Cochina style.

Today - Dec 12: Hawaii, working days, hopefully with a break somewhere in there.
Dec 13 - Dec 17: Hawaii, working nights.
Dec 17 - Dec 19: Hawaii, on vacation!
Dec 19 - Dec 28: California.
Dec 29 - Jan 14 or so: The Philippines!

Okay, back to work now...

As promised, I have updated my pics section with photos from Halloween and some other recent activities. :) Also, the music section now contains one bootlegged track from my Sacred Heart performance. (Thirty minutes of material, a piano, a bunch of nuns, and me.) The bootleg CD is of almost hilariously bad quality -- distortions, echos, sounds of cars driving by, people talking about amplifiers, and whatnot. The lesson I've learned is: buy a better microphone! Or, use the line output from the mixer, dammit...

Ooh, I just submitted my abstract for next year's SPIE conference! (That's the Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers, otherwise known as the International Society for Optical Engineering. :P) If it gets accepted, I get to write a paper on the nuller control system and present it in Orlando in May! Woo!

P.S. -- John's flying in again -tonight-, on a $363 impulse buy this very morning, just to see my big performance tomorrow! Isn't that the greatest? Okay, gotta go grocery shopping and clean!!
