By the end of next month, I will have attended the following shows: Importance of Being Earnest, Pedro Gil, Madama Butterfly, Kronos Quartet (twice!), and Ralph Stanley.

I feel better now. :)

Hello all! I got back from the Philippines a week ago, then spent my first week back in the States recovering from a jet-lag/weather-shock induced cough. It's cold here! Last night the gale-force winds littered the streets with branches, killed the electricity on my block, and prompted JPL to close its doors for the day. I'm free!

**John** just left my apartment. Having completed a weekend visit of unparalleled wonderfulness, he is flying to Hawaii today. **sad**

In an effort to make my new apartment even more comfortable, I'm going to be leaving Earthlink behind and switching over to less expensive DSL that can actually filter my spam. Therefore, Jean I Been as you know it will be shut down. (Thanks for the memories!) But fear not, a new blog will be emerging from the rubble soon!

Here's my travel schedule... probably the last travel schedule I'll post in this incarnation of my website...

Jan 29 - Feb 7: Hawaii, working days.
Feb 10 - 12: Hawaii, working days.
Feb 13 - 16: Hawaii, working nights.
Feb 19 - 22: Utah!
Everything in between: California!!
